πͺΈ Underwater Easter Egg Hunt 2025
Join the Scubadillos for our annual underwater hunt at Tyler State Park. The eggs will be suspended from the bottom, making them easy to spot for hunters of all levels.
<h3″>π Schedule
- 11:30 AM: Lunch at the “Day Use” Picnic Area (South of the swimming area).
- 1:00 PM: Gear staging at the swimming area.
- 2:00 PM: The Hunt Begins!
π° Costs
- Park Entry: $6 per adult (Free for kids 12 and under).
- Tip: Buy your pass online ahead of time to guarantee entry!
- Event Fee (Meal & Hunt): * <b”>FREE for paid Scubadillo members.
- $10 for non-members.Note: You can pay your 2026 annual membership ($36.50/individual) on-site to get this and most other events for free!
- Requirement: You must show your C-Card to dive.
π Food & RSVPs
The Dillos are firing up the grill for free hamburgers and water.
- Please bring: A side dish to share.
- RSVP: RSVP and side dish signup sheet so we have an accurate headcount for burgers!
π€Ώ The Dive Details
- Visibility: Expected 6β10 feet.
- Depth: Eggs will be floating on strings at 8β15 feet.
- Gear: 5-mil wetsuit or thicker recommended. Bring a mesh bag for your eggs!
- Prizes: Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
π Getting There
Address: Tyler State Park (90 miles east of Dallas via I-20).
- Take Exit 562 (FM 14) and head North.
- Enter the park and stay left on Park Road 16 (South side of the lake).
- Meet at Brownβs Point in the Day-Use Picnic area.
- Look for the big yellow Scubadillo banner!
