Monthly meeting

Lets get this year stated off right. The January 2019 meeting of the Scubadillo Dive Club will feature Dave Filas, a Dillo member, has been a certified diver since 1999. Originally sticking to recreational diving, he decided to take the plunge and cross over to technical diving 3 years ago. He holds technical diving certifications from both PADI (Tec50) and TDI (Normoxic trimix). In addition to open circuit, he is also TDI certified (trimix) on the Dive Rite Optima rebreather after learning to use rebreathers in 2017. In 2018, he completed his open circuit full cave certification and became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. In his natural state outside of diving, Dave is a technical project manager for IBM. Dave provided this very interesting and informative program for the Diving Rebels in December, so please join us for our meeting on Thursday January 3. WILL BE RAFFLING OFF SOME COOL DIVE RELATED GEAR OR HAVE A 50/50 POT. The “Social Hour” begins at 6:30 PM and the meeting begins at 7:30 PM.
