Since our regular first-Thursday-of-the-month meeting falls on Cinco de Mayo, On the Border has asked us to move our meeting to a less hectic day.

Please join us **Thursday, May 12,** at **On the Border in Addison**. 

Our speaker will be **Barry Guimbellot**, founder and president of the Dallas Underwater Photographic Society (DUPS) from 1992 to 2021. He will feature lighting in a different way than we have discussed. Barry’s hope is to give you an understanding of light, so you can light your images correctly for a lifetime.
 
Barry and his wife, Ruth, were contributing editors for *Dive Training* and *Dive Center Business* magazines for 25 years. They are responsible for the still photography for two monthly columns and web video production of a monthly column. In addition to these assignments, they have produced 80 magazine covers.

**Meeting details**
Our meeting begins **at 7 p.m**. If your schedule permits, please come for the social/dinner hour around **6 p.m.** 

Bring some cash for the raffle, which offers fun, mostly useful items!
