Big, small, white, dark, salt water, fresh water: Tulum caves have it all

Scubadillo Bjorn Loftis shares his experiences with cave diving in Tulum, Mexico
Please join us for our monthly Scubadillo meeting, Thursday, May 7, as our very own Bjorn Loftis takes us into the variety of cave diving available in Tulum, Mexico. Again, we’ll be online with the miracle of Zoom.

Armed with photos and videos, he will feature highlights from his 11-day trek into the caves of Tulum, which is on the Yucatan Peninsula, south of Cancun.

Bjorn has been diving since 2009, cave diving since 2011 and instructing since 2014. He is an independent instructor through PADI, TDI/SDI and RAID. Bjorn teaches recreational diving, adaptive diving for disabled veterans through Lifewaters and Adaptable Scuba, and technical diving, including cavern/cave, advanced wreck and decompression diving.

In his non-diving life, he is a software architect for ABC Financial. He is married and has two children and a 3-month-old Yorkshire Terrier named Zoe, who just recently was welcomed into the family.

Along with Bjorn’s presentation, we’ll discuss upcoming Scubadillo events, including the wildly popular Luau!

So don your favorite dive shirt and come be part of the online fun and conversation.

Our meeting begins promptly at 7 p.m. See the details below.
