We will plan for a two-dive profile\, followed by a late lunch or early dinner at a local spot for anyone interested in hanging out afterward. \nWhether you want to practice your navigation or swim through the famous sunken Lockheed C-140 jet\, Clint Eastwood’s houseboat\, or the school bus\, there’s plenty of underwater eye candy to explore across Athens’ 30+ wreck sites! \nNot diving? Come anyway! The park has great shaded picnic areas\, so you are more than welcome to bring a camp chair\, hang out at the docks\, and join us for the post-dive dinner social. \n✈️ Going to Cozumel next weekend? This is the perfect opportunity to jump in the water\, check your gear\, and ensure everything is working flawlessly before the trip. It’s a great chance to dial in your baseline weighting—just remember to adjust for the saltwater switch once we hit Mexico! \n📍 Logistics & Gear\n\n\nDock Location: TBD. The specific dock will be announced as the date approaches. To be safe\, please double-check which dock the club is using at the front office when you check in. \n\n\nGear Rentals: Rental equipment and tank fills are available directly through Athens Scuba Park. Please check their official website ahead of time for pricing and availability. \n\n\n📝 Know Before You Go\n\n\nAdmission: Park entry is $30/day for everyone checking into the facility (divers and non-divers alike). If you got their annual pass\, park entry is free. \n\n\nWaivers & C-Cards: Save time at the gate by filling out the Athens Scuba Park liability waiver online before you arrive. Don’t forget to bring your C-Card to show at the front office! \n\n\nPark Rules: Strictly no glass containers are allowed anywhere on the property. \n\n\nGear Tip: A small dive light is highly recommended if you want to peek inside the cockpits and windows of the various underwater wrecks!
