Join the Scubadillos for a day of bubbles\, wrecks\, and great company at Athens Scuba Park! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just looking to get your fins wet\, this is the perfect low-key Saturday escape. \n📍 The Game Plan\n\nWhere: Athens Scuba Park (Approx. 2 hours southeast of DFW).\nThe Check-In: Head to the park office upon arrival to complete the required liability waiver. Once cleared\, head over to Dock #4\, which we have officially reserved for our group!\nWhen – Meet Up: We’re meeting around 10:00 AM-ish. (Texas time for “we’ll get there when the coffee kicks in”).\nWhen – Park Event: At 11:00 AM sharp\, the park kicks off their underwater Golf Ball Hunt. Keep an eye out for those dimpled treasures while we’re exploring!\n\n\n💰 Cost & Gear\n\nEntry Fee: FREE for 2026 Season Pass holders! Otherwise\, the daily entry fee is $30 (payable to the park at check-in).\nGear Situation: Bring your own kit\, or travel light! Athens has a full range of rental equipment available.\nPro Tip: If you need rentals\, don’t wing it! Make a reservation ahead of time on their website or give them a ring to ensure they have your size waiting.\n\n\n🍱 What to Pack\nAside from your sense of adventure and your C-card\, make sure to bring: \n\nHydration: Plenty of water (diving is thirsty work!).\nFuel: Your favorite snacks or a packed lunch.\nComfort: Sunscreen\, a towel\, and maybe a sturdy chair for dockside lounging.\n\n\nNote: Athens is famous for its underwater attractions—including sunken planes\, buses\, and even a triple-decker party barge.
