David Prichard

Past-President and Co-Membership Chair, David Prichard is a PADI Master Instructor who started diving in 1995 and since has over 1,000 dives around the world with the furthest being the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. David enjoys the biodiversity of marine life in the South Pacific (Philippines, Indonesia, Micronesia, Australia, Papua New Guinea) and has explored much of the Caribbean and other tropical locations. He spent many years as a liveaboard Divemaster on the Spree and Fling in the Texas Flower Gardens and teaching scuba to hundreds of students in Texas. David and his wife, Lily, have published over 35 articles with photos in various scuba diving magazines and conducted numerous presentations at Texas-area dive shows. David proposed to Lily underwater in Cozumel and were later married in the Sea of Cortez near Australia by the Captain of the Mike Ball Spoilsport liveaboard dive boat. They also invented the Vari-Fit Snorkel Keeper which is sold around the world.
